#LampedusaHH #Hamburg #Germany At October 25 a chimney in the Bleicherstr was occupied to send a signal against racism. The motto of the occupier is written clear in big characters: “No human is illegal!”
Yesterday, October 26, about 100 supporters came to the chimney after the demo which took place in the afternoon. After the police ordered people to determine a person who takes the responsibility and leads the gathering (this person has to register the demo ofcourse nobody did as we don’t need no leaders, remark by Enough is Enough) they started to clear the street. They enforced this with batons and pepperspray. Watercanons and armored vehicles were also ready to assist the riot cops. Continue reading #LampedusaHH #Hamburg #Germany: Chimney Bleicherstr occupied
We are Yeldeğirmeni Solidarity from Turkey. We formed this solidarity group after the Gezi park occupation. It’s a neighbourhood Solidarty project in İstanbul/ Kadıköy.
About 2 months ago we occupied one bulding in our neighbourhood. It s a half building and it was empty for the last 20 years like garbage in front of our eyes and our streets. So we decided to occupy the building and make it a public place with a social center. There is a lot of work to do and we didn’t publish about it.
At the moment there is a night dance demo against High rents (Dance & Occupy) which started at the university campus in Hamburg. But we also want to protest against the racist controls by cops in the Ottensen and Altona neighbourhood tonight: 22:00 at Spritzenplatz (Altona/Ottensen), Hamburg
The Hamburg Senate is responsible for racial profiling as part of a manhunt against Libyan refugees. It affects people who managed to get from Italy’s southernmost island Lampedusa to Hamburg, and are now facing state persecution. Governors have pushed the escalation to a higher level, and forced refugees to report themselves at authorities until Wednesday, October 16th. This step is in fact a preparation for their deportation, because the German law and the “Fortress Europe” treaty (the Dublin II Regulation, which the local authorities are able to put into place) do not allow them to stay in Germany.
CW: Sexual violence against women and children. Domestic abuse. Police violence. Violence. Suicide. Part 1: The Women They Know Like many people, I am a man. Triple helpings of jail all-around planned for Bristol protestors. On Thursday 13th of May, eight people were charged with rioting for the “Kill The Bill” demonstration in Bristol. You know what’s great about Capitalism? Choices! Lot’s of fucking choices. As the workers of the west are mostly dependent on wage slavery, this international workers day is dedicated to our most powerful illusion – choice. Everyday I am faced with an avalanche of choices and I don’t even have a wage. Do I take
A coalition of grassroots groups calls for an action against the Home Office housing of asylum seekers in ex-army barracks, which have been declared “unsuitable for human accommodation” by independent inspectors and “a living nightmare” by a former resident. A call for an international day of solidarity with long-term anarchist prisoners on June 11th, 2021. Kenmure-street-752x440.jpg A member of Glasgow Anarchist Communist Group reports on successful resistance to a Home Office raid. We were lucky that the word got out quickly this time, but we need to remain vigilant. We can all take comfort in knowing what solidarity can achieve, though. There has been a call from bureaucrats and reformists not to support the Sick Day Solidarity Fund. They say it distracts from their “real” organizing and promotes charity. First of all, what organizing? Signing petitions and telling people to vote NDP next year? If you want to spear head a campaign that focuses on that, […]

Statement by Black Rose / Rosa Negra The 2020 presidential election has come and gone. While Donald Trump’s refusal to concede marks a departure from the established norms of U.S. bourgeois democracy, it has not amounted to the coup that many feared it would. Despite the authoritarian rhetoric that brought him to power, Trump never […]
In response to the industrial, capitalist model of food production that has decimated rural lifeways and our mother earth, social movements around the world have identified agroecology as their alternative proposal for rural development. Grounded in peasant and indigenous knowledges, struggles for food sovereignty and agrarian reform, agroecology is understood by social movements as “a […]
The abrupt replacement of president Martin Vizcarra by the president of congress Manuel Merino has ignited a week of protests in multiple cities in Peru, including Lima. On Thursday 6 May, Palestinians began […]

By Mikhael Erzengel A bad article about activist praxis during the 2020-21 COVID19 pandemic would probably start like this: ‘The COVID19 pandemic of 2020 had monumental effects on society, the economy and politics’. That same bad article would then probably go on to list examples of these effects, and try to deliver some supposedly witty […]
Anonymous Imperialism and colonial expansion are phenomena which have been occurring for hundreds of years.
