Friedel 54 in Berlin has been home away from home for many of us throughout the years, as it was always open for our talks, discussions, and meetings. Places like Friedel are important because they are a meeting point for local and international activists, a place that stands against effects of gentrification and inspires us to fight where we live, stand and work.

Note: Enough is Enough is not organizing any of these events, we are publishing them for people across the US and Europe so they are able to read what is going on.
As cities like Berlin and Ljubljana are pushing all of us further and further to the edge of society and opening up to capital and profit, it is even more important that we not only defend, but even expand our autonomous spaces.
In the course of Action week to defend Friedel, Radio Student broadcast an interview about the interview, to show what kind of space Friedel is, and why it needs to be defended. You can listen to the show on this link. (around minute 19)
Shortly after, listeners of anarchist radio show Crna luknja, where the interview was published, got inspired by Friedel struggle and put up a banner on German embassy in Ljubljana, saying „Against eviction, Friedel stays.“
We stand in solidarity with all of you, who are fighting for Friedel to stay open. Your struggles inspires our own.
Against all forms of oppression! Against state, capital and nation!
