Setup in #Charlottesville

In Charlottesville, Virginia 32 year old anti-racist Heather Heyer was run down with a car at an anti-fascist protest on August 12. This murder by a white supremacist touched off a fury of democratic rhetoric by the very political forces that have cultivated this political violence for decades.

Eternal Liberal Handwringing: Response to #Antifa Smears

It hardly took two weeks for leftists and liberals alike to go from sympathizing with antifa to insist they are destroying the Left and hindering capacities to organize in any meaningful way. I laugh so as not to cry. I guess this should be expected in the era of internet-social-media where information flies so fast that an hour feels like a week, a week like a month and a month like a year but it’s irksome all the same.

Remember the Nazi Tiki Torch March in #Charlottesville & What it Says About Liberal Appeasers

What happens when folks follow the advice of hand-wringing liberals and ignore Nazis? What happens when militant antifa forces do no present themselves to repel Nazis from rallying in public spaces? The Nazis feel empowered to brutally assault anyone who objects to their genocidal fantasies, as was shown in Charlottesville the night before a Nazi murdered Heather Heyer. On August 11, 2017, a horde of Nazis with tiki torches expressed their “free speech” rights by chanting Nazi slogans, then proceeded to surround and viciously attack a small group of University of Virginia students brave enough to counter-protest Nazi hate.

#RefugeesGR in #Moria: Enough is Enough!

Yesterday refugees marched from the Moria prison camp to Mytilene on the Greek island Lesvos. The refugees stayed overnight in Mytilene and refuse to go back to the camp. Some of the refugees are on Lesvos for more than a year now. Since the EU-Turkey deal was introduced in March 2016, the Greek Aegean islands are big open air prisons where refugees are subject to police violence, repression and deportations. Other refugees on Lesvos, among them former hunger striker Arash Hampay started a campaign to remind EU member states and the UN to the 1951 refugee convention, as all of these states seem to have forgotten that they designed and ratified the refugee convention.
