In Dresden, Germany activists showed solidarity with Charlottesville and published a statement on Linksunten Indymedia:
On saturday, the 12th August the fascist James Alex Fields was driving into an antifascist demonstration. He killed the protestor Heather Heyer and got many other protestors hurt, some very heavy. This incident shows, what fasicts are capable of, if you let them proceed. Because of this, it is our duty to fight every kind of fasicsm. Fight fascist where you meet them!
Heather, you will live on in our fights.
