Greece: Solidarity With Prisoners on 5th Wing of Korydallos Prison

Our fellow prisoners in the 5th wing of Korydallos Prison, are serving their sentences twice, since not only are they deprived of their freedom but of all the necessities most people take for granted… they haven’t had any electricity, heating or warm water since the start of the winter.

The common experience of imprisonment brings people from different countries, customs and culture together. Through this mobilization against the new penal code we have attempted and gotten over many of these divisions by learning to share our problems and fight for our dignity…

So we now stand in solidarity with our fellow prisoners in the 5th wing and we claim the immediate fulfillment of their demands for electricity and warm water.

Our equipment suffered a lot from traveling around Europe for our independent on the ground reports. We need new microphones for better audio on our video reports, a new laptop (the last one crashed in Catalonia) and have a lot of expenses for our on the ground reporting.

We want to stay independent and want to expand our work with on the ground reporting across Europe and even beyond. Therefore we need your support. Help maintain our site and continue our work. Your donations make our work possible.

enoughcrowdfundingnovdecWe did and do a lot of on the ground reporting in Europe. On December 17 we will travel to Lesvos (Greece) and in January we will travel from Lesvos to Athens to report on the ground.

Each donation helps, also the small ones. Thank you for supporting the Enough is Enough project.
