Greece: Arrestees from the evicted squat Matrozou 45 were tortured by the police
The folowing statement was written by two comrades who were arrested outside the squat Matrozou 45.
Today on the 12th of March we found out that a house in our community was being attacked by an army of police officers and our comrades were facing the threat of homelessness.
We took stones and fire extinguishers and planned to prevent them from taking over the squat. We got injured and arrested during the clashes and when we got to the Police HQ we refused to submit our cellphones, to be subjected to a body search and to be detained separately.
As a result we were treated violently and had to defend ourselves at different times. We got hit on the head and male cops split us with the use of violence. When my partner was absent and was being tortured in another office, male cops were dragging my body and slapping me.
UNCOMPROMISING STRUGGLE NOTHING WILL REMAIN UNANSWERED
