For the past decade he has made a career out of promoting hateful white supremacist, misogynist, homophobic rhetoric as well as a far-right, nationalist political agenda.
During his short tenur as Trump’s Chief Strategist, Bannon helped devise such infamous policies as Executive Order 13769 (aka the “Muslim Ban”), the 120-day suspension of the US Refugee Admissions Program, and the initially indefinite suspension of admitance for Syrian refugees.
Since being fired from the White House, Bannon has focused on assisting far-right and fascist party candidates around the world, including UK Independence Party, France’s National Front, Alternative for Germany and Brazil’s now victorious fascist Jair Bolsonaro. He continues to also maintain influence in mainstream conservative parties, such as the US Republicans and Israeli Likud.
