Note: Enough is Enough is not organizing any of these events, we are publishing this text for people across the US and Europe to be able to see what is going on and for documentation only.

And what now, we have fought together, argued, and organized the largest protest against lignite in Germany. But what is left?
In any case, “Hambi” does not stay by itself and certainly not when we split our movement.
I do not want to write a comment here which focusses on the violence debate. It has already been said enough from all sides. However, I think that the movement, which screamed “Hambi stays” together on 06.10.18, is currently at a turning point.
At a turning point where there were many groups and projects, some were broken, some grown. Let us grow, take the movement as it is, divers, and focus on the essential goal, the system change and the immediate coal delivery. The “Hambi” always stood for me for that. That we can do more together and with a debate on forms of action without us quarreling.

It will start again in 2019, we will hopefully fight together for climate justice and direct our ange to the right addresses and not to ourselves.
The next climate camps are coming, mass actions are taking place, and again it will probably be called “Hambi stays!”.
Let’s fight together, shoulder to shoulder and together for the cause. No matter what the form of action is, no matter what “background” we come from and regardless of whether we understand ourselves as radical or bourgeois.

Hambi Stays!
