After 901 days of requests, petitions and protests, Amir Hampay is still on Lesvos. Amir’s case is exemplary for many people who are stuck on the Balkan route because of EU border policies.
Note: Enough 14 is not organizing any of these events, we are publishing this text for people across the US and Europe to be able to see what is going on and for documentation only.
Yesterday, Arash Hampay, brother of Amir, announced that he will start a hungerstrike in front of Greek parliamant on Syntagma square in Athens.

He has been kept on Lesbos island for over two years, like an exiled person and now, he is about to be deported.
I will stand next by my brother until he is freed, even if I don’t receive any support. pic.twitter.com/5bYiYm8iGQ
I will update the Enough readers on the hunger strike in the coming days.
