Croatian media outlets reported this week on the case of an unaccompanied minor from Afghanistan who was subject to severe and inhuman treatment at the hands of Croatian authorities who was locked in a dark room, where officials questioned him and later “forced him to take his clothes off, made him get into water, where they released electricity through a [taser], which led to him losing consciousness.” During the incident, he suffered a broken rib, internal bleeding, and lost a significant amount of blood.Continue reading Croatian border: “I told them: ‘Stop! Saturday, 31 August 2019: Two to three thousand people (according to different estimates) marched down the neighbourhood of Exarcheia in central Athens, following a massive police raid against 4 squats (mainly housing refugees) on Monday 26 August and the consequent arrest of 143 migrants and 3 others.
