Capitalism is not just in another crisis. Its shaking. Capitalist states are reacting with repression, torture, killings and prison. The coming years could be decisive.

This is not a year review. Yes I will write some things about the past year, but many more things happened this year. It was a strange year, as if we are waiting for the storm…
The past year there were (and some are ongoing) revolts in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Iraq, Iran and Lebanon, to name a view. The capitalist state powers are feeling the heat.
The Enough Info-Café opened on December 22, 2018. In this first year there were a lot of info-events and we published two zines. One with German translations of texts of the Gilets Jaunes and one with translated texts from Chile. More and more neighbours came to the Info-Cafe in the past months, and discussed issues like for instance the revolt in Chile, the attacks against Exarcheia, police violence and police work in general and the situation at the EU borders. The people that come to the Info-Cafe have very different backgrounds, but more and more people here are interested in resistance, movements and anarchism in general.
On the German territory many people are still sleeping, but anger is growing. My personal impression is that the German government is working hard to radicalize people, but large parts of the “tradional” autonomous szene seem not to notice this development. After the so-called “climate package” and the proposal for a “coal exit” law, many discussions started on German Fridays for Future channels. A lot of kids feel betrayed by the German government and discussions about other forms of actions and the current “democratic” system started. How this will all develope is unclear at the moment, but as we stated above: anger is growing.
On the Chilean territory the revolt is ongoing. But what to do after insurrections like these? The ideas for a pro-Federative Assembly in Santiago de Chile, could be an important step to work on answers.
On the French territory a strike started at December 5, and is also still ongoing. German mainstream media do not cover a lot of the ongoing protests in France, actually almost nothing at all. It seems the ongoing resistance against Macron’s neoliberal agenda makes some people nervous on the German territory.
With the help from German, British, US, French and arms manufacturers from other countries, Erdogan started his war against Rojava this year. After the Turkish occupation of Afrin, this was the second attack against North-Eastern Syria by the Turkish state and its islamist allies. Many people were killed and the kurdish revolution is under pressure.
The Greek state started a major attack against the anarchist movement in the past months. several squats were evicted and there was brutal police violence and repression during the commemoration of the 1973 Polytechnic uprising and the 11th anniversary of the police murder on Alexis. I was in Athens earlier his month and I could feel the tension.
Until now the Greek state achieved that there is more unity in the anarchist movement again and the will to defend the squats and the anarchist movement is strong. Next month I will be in Athens again to report for Enough 14 and to support the work of Cars of Hope with refugees in Athens.
The capitalist states react with all forms of repression by beatung up, torturing, killing and imprison people that resist. But the powers that be are more and more losing control on several territories. After we have waited for the storm in 2019, we could start a hurricane in 2020.
