#Athens: Thousands in solidarity with #RefugeesGR

Greek territory. March 6, 2020. Thousands took the streets of Athens and other cities last night in solidarity with refugees. Calls for more demonstrations in solidarity across Europe.

More than 7000 people joined the demo in solidarity with refugees in Athens. Protesters chanted slogans, demanding open borders and to abolish Fortress Europe. Many people also condemned the fascist attacks against refugees, journalists and people who support refugees.

In Thessaloniki about 4000 people took the streets in solidarity with refugees. In other cities people on the Greek territory also took the streets.

New demonstrations in solidarity with refugees and to protest against Fortress Europe are called for today and tomorrow.
