South Africa. AFP reported: In Cape Town hundreds of angry people fought running battles with the police on Tuesday. Rebels hurlyed rocks and setted up barricades on the streets with burning tyres in Mitchells Plain over undelivered food parcels.

The Manila Times reported: “We have small children. We want to eat. They must also eat,” said resident and mother Nazile Bobbs. “They said we are going to get parcels, where [are] the parcels? How long are we [going to be] in the lockdown?”
Many people, especially precarious workers lost their income due to the lockdown, which came into effect on March 27.
