One week monastery occupation! [Aachen, Germany]

Aachen. Germany. The monastery in Lousbergstraße has been squatted for one week now. The squatters have already started renovation work and organized a colorful program. There were lectures about the political necessity of squatting and from the Mietshäuser Syndikat. A sports room with regular boxing training, a free store, as well as a silk-screening workshop and a kiosk have been created. The part of the living space for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and a-gender people has already been inaugurated today.

Climate Destruction is Systemic – the Response Cannot Be “Individually Blame Ourselves”

At the beginning of August 2021, the IPCC (The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change – the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change) reported on the latest evidence and announced a “code red for humanity” (https://www.ipcc.ch/report/sixth-assessment-report-working-group-i/ ).  This made headlines for 24 hours, then vanished.

George Floyd Uprising Reader: Insurgency and Beyond

A group of anarchists and autonomists in the Bay Area/occupied Ohlone land have collected these writings animated by the 2020 uprisings which ignited the so-called United States after the police murder of George Floyd. Our intention is that this reader inspires people everywhere to engage in deeper conversations about all aspects of the uprising, including its significance and context to the US Black Liberation struggle. We believe these discussions are vital to shaping ongoing and future struggles, improving tactics, and rendering ineffective the insidious narratives that aim to crush our collective power.

Berlin: Who (de)stabilizies the social conditions?

Berlin. The corona pandemic has dominated our everyday life for a year and a half now. Climate change is having its first catastrophic effects in our immediate vicinity, and almost daily there are so-called individual cases of right-wing involvement in the German security authorities. Fake news and the post-factual are on the rise. In this climate, it is not only conservatives who cling to the traditional pillars of power – the institutions of the state, laws and police. Governing in crises also always means using the crisis as an argument for increasing economic, social, and security powers.

Online presentation “Protests and repressions in Belarus from an anarchist perspective” – 27 august 2021 19:00 (Minsk time)

News from Belarus hardly make headlines of the english speaking media and if something comes it is mostly about some new crazy move of dictator Lukashenko. The protest for now is not happening anymore, but the struggle continues. Massive network of solidarity is supporting thousands of repressed among them dozens of anarchists and antifascists. Some spontanious decentrilized protests are happening on regular basis.

Anarchy 2022 – St-Imier July 28-31 – International Anti-Authoritarian Gathering

From 28th to 31st July 2022 a meeting will be held in St-Imier (Jura, Switzerland, CH) to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Congress of St-Imier which, in 1872, saw the foundation of the Anti-Authoritarian International, an event marking the birth of the organized anarchist movement.
