#Brussels May 31: Trial Against 6 Passengers Who Prevented Deportation

On August 17, 2016 passengers on a commercial flight to Cameroon prevented a deportation of a refugee after they witnessed the inhuman treatment of the refugee by copd. Six of these passengers will have to stand trial on May 31 in Brussels, Belgium.

#RefugeeStruggle #Germany: Dry Hunger Strike in #Ebersberg

On May 22, 36 people started a protest against deportations, for equal rights for all and for the permission to work in front of district office in Ebersberg, near to Munich (Germany). One day later the protesters started a dry hunger strike. In Berlin refugees continued their protest in front of the lager at Brienner street.

#NoBanNoWallNoRaids Doors & Windows Smashed During #ICEraids in #California

Today there were massive walkouts and demonstrations against ICE raids across the US, with many shops closed and empty classes in schools. Immigrant communities across the country are on edge after federal immigration agents arrested over 600 people in the past week in the largest raids since Donald Trump became president. Raids were reported in at least 11 states, including California, New York, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Wisconsin. On February 13th, ICE and Local Police smashed a door and windows in Santa Cruz, California. The Immigrant Defense Project published an ICE raids toolkit.

Immigrant Rights Activists: At Least 134 People Detained After #ICEraids

According to to immigrant rights activists who claimed at least 134 people were detained after ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids across Southern California on Thursday. In Los Angeles people took the street to protests against the ICE raids. The raids took place just one day after Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos was detained and deported to Mexico. The Immigrant Defense Project published an ICE raids toolkit.
