#Nightfall: Friendship & Resistance

We’ve now passed the one year mark of Trump’s presidency. This time last year we were fast learning what his reign had in store for us. Following the riotous eruptions nationwide on the day of his inauguration, immense numbers of people participated in Women’s Marches, others spontaneously blockaded airports, and hundreds stormed the UC Berkeley campus on February 1st and laid siege to the police-protected venue hosting Milo Yiannopolous.

Report: Protest in Solidarity With #J20 Defendents at #DC Superior Court

On the 27th of November, a protest was held outside DC Superior Court in solidarity with J20 (Inauguration protest) defendents facing up to 65 years in prison. One message of the protest was that “a vote to convict is a vote for Trump” driven home by a chant. It has also come out that police had already decided to carry out the mass arrest prior to the march ever leaving Logan Circle.

Welcome to the Party, Liberals!

With the election of Donald “Orange is the New White” Trump, there has been a new outpouring of social justice activity across the United States. The Women’s March, airport demonstrations in support of immigrants and refugees, the People’s Climate March, millions of dollars in new donations to the American Civil Liberties Union are all part of this bump in activity. Even Keith Olbermann is now calling his show “The Resistance!”

Setup in #Charlottesville

Remember the Nazi Tiki Torch March in #Charlottesville & What it Says About Liberal Appeasers

What happens when folks follow the advice of hand-wringing liberals and ignore Nazis? What happens when militant antifa forces do no present themselves to repel Nazis from rallying in public spaces? The Nazis feel empowered to brutally assault anyone who objects to their genocidal fantasies, as was shown in Charlottesville the night before a Nazi murdered Heather Heyer. On August 11, 2017, a horde of Nazis with tiki torches expressed their “free speech” rights by chanting Nazi slogans, then proceeded to surround and viciously attack a small group of University of Virginia students brave enough to counter-protest Nazi hate.
