This fall links a number of antifascist events in the Nordic countries. This is a call to action to take to the streets and join these actions and to step up the antifascist struggle locally, in your own city. On August 25th we were part of creating a platform for activists from different unions, students, grassroots organisers, activists from the other Nordic countries and many more – to express and protest against the proposed restrictions on the right to strike.

During Tuesday AFA [antifa] Malmö participated in the manifestation of Revolutionary May Day in Malmö, where we also held a speech. The speech was prefaced by cheered news from the north, about how the [Nazi] Nordic Resistance Movement (NMR) failed their goals for May 1, and the Anti-Fascist counter-demonstrators in Boden reached several times larger numbers than the Nazis. The rest of the speech was about AFA, our history and the problems we face. Statement of the Autonomous Revolutionary Nordic Alliance on yesterdays antifa demo in Gothenburg, Sweden.
On the 30th of September the Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM) will try to march through Gothenburg. Their march is staged at the same time as the biggest book fair in the Nordic countries, attracting about 100 000 participants. This is a call for Nordic participation in the antifascist protests and to a radical left book fair during the weekend.
At 6 am yesterday morning cops raided 10 addresses in Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the buildings that was raided was Bumzen in Baldersgade. 25 persons were arrested and 9 of them are at risk of being placed in pre-trail custody. The Autonomous Revolutionary Nordic Alliance (ARNA) published a call for the No G20 protests in Hamburg from July 6 until July 8th of July. On their blog the alliance writes “We are a network of anti-capitalist, feminist and antifacist groups from the Nordic countries, wishing to organize a strong Nordic participation in the protest against the G20 summit in July.” The alliance will organise transportation to Hamburg for people who want to join the protests against the G20.
