Today, on the last day of the 6th Annual Week of solidarity with anarchist prisoners, three banners were hung in The Hague, the Netherlands.
Today, June 11, is the international solidarity day with anarchist prisoners. That’s why, last week, we put posters up in The Hague, the Netherlands and hung a banner today with the text: ‘Freedom for all anarchist prisoners’.
In the run up to the 1st of May demonstration in The Hague bookshop Opstand is organising a lecture about the history of the 1st of May. Peter Storm, blogger on ravotr.nl and author of ‘krachtbronnen van de anarchie’, will come to tell us about how labour day came into existance and why the day itself is still relevent.
Yesterday evening a comrade was arrested the Schilderswijk in The Hague. He was arrested for allegedly spreading a pamphlet about the Mitch Henriquez case. He is being accused of incitement and will be remanded in custody this afternoon. At this moment he is being held in the police station on De Heemstraat.
