On Monday, 2 Cars of Hope activists came back from Bosnia. They supported refugees in the small border town Velika Kladuša. But there is really a lack of everything… On June 13, a Cars of Hope car drives from Wuppertal, Germany to Bosnia, there are still empty places left in the car.
Tonight we will travel with people of the Cars of Hope collective to Bosnia. We will hook-up with our friends of the former Soul Food Kitchen. We worked with Soul Food Kitchen before (in Thessaloniki and Belgrade). Here is an article about the situation at the Bosnian-Croatian border. Last night clashes broke out in the Moria refugee camp after cops hit a woman in the camp. On Saturday and Sunday there will be demonstrations across Europe at the second anniversary of the EU Turkey deal. One of the demonstrations will be at Lesvos. In April activists of the Cars of Hope collective will be on Lesvos to support refugees and document the situation.
During the last days we spoke with a lot of people who are forced to live in the Moria refugee camp. Their stories are showing the total chaos in the Moria refugee camp.
