Washington DC: On the 30th of June, the Abolitionist Contingent broke away from the huge #FamiliesBelongTogether march, and protested at the fancy condo home of Trump’s senior policy adviser Stephen Miller. It was Stephen Miller who both designed Trump’s Muslim Ban and encouraged Trump to start ripping children from their parent’s arms at the border. Now he has to answer to the public at the very gates of his home.
Washington, DC – The United States government has officially been put “on notice” for violating the constitutional rights of anti-Trump protesters. While the second trial of people mass-arrested at an “anti-capitalist, antifascist” protest march during President Trump’s inauguration in DC began last week, hearings for other protest trial groups have also been underway. At a trial readiness hearing today for the June 4 trial group, DC Superior Court Chief Judge Robert Morin delivered a major blow to the prosecution’s case, officially ruling that the US Attorney had illegally withheld evidence from protester defendants.

On the 27th of November, a protest was held outside DC Superior Court in solidarity with J20 (Inauguration protest) defendents facing up to 65 years in prison. One message of the protest was that “a vote to convict is a vote for Trump” driven home by a chant. It has also come out that police had already decided to carry out the mass arrest prior to the march ever leaving Logan Circle.

The Washington DC police department subpoenaed Facebook for information about several people who were kettled and arrested during the #DisruptJ20 protests against the inauguration of Donald Trump on Jan. 20.
On Friday January 20th more than 200 people were arrested in Washington DC during the protests against the inauguration of Donald Trump. All comrades were released again but many will face legal battles in the coming months.
White Nationalist Richard Spencer got punched during yesterdays #DisruptJ20 protests in Washington DC. Spencer is he director of the National Policy Institute (NPI), and recently organised a conference in Washington, DC, where attendees gave the fascist salute as Spencer screamed, “Hail Trump.”
