Stuttgart. Germany. On June 18, during an organized logistics strike, Adil Belakhdim, coordinator of the Novara province (Italy) and member of the Italian national trade union coordination SI Cobas, was killed. A truck crashed into the picket line in front of LIDL in Biandrate (Novara). Of the ten workers, two were injured and Adil died. This was not an accident or the act of a single madman. Wuppertal, Germany: Autonomous May Day demonstration in Oberbarmen district sets colorful accents [Report and video]

Wuppertal. Germany. We have deliberately decided not to demonstrate in the northern part of the city today, the autonomous May Day in Wuppertal. If the cops think to besiege whole districts like the northern part of the city to nip any protest in the bud, we come together, self-determined, in other neighborhoods of the city to make our struggles visible there. We think that we should work out and try out more new concepts to see which paths we can take to be resistant and uncontrollable, to expand our scope of action and not let ourselves be controlled.

May Day in Paris [Report and videos]

Paris. France. An estimated 30,000 people took part in the traditional May Day demonstration in Paris. A large part of them was mobilized by trade unions such as the CGT, the Gilets Jaunes and more or less left-wing groups. Kurdish, Palestinian and Algerian structures were also present, presenting their specific demands. The mobilization from the anarchist or autonomous spectrum was modest and started only a week before the date.
