A gloomy atmosphere in #Athens on November 17

Athens. Greece. After banning any gathering of more than four people on the streets and any commemoration of the November 17, 1973 uprising using language similar to that of the junta, the ND government yesterday violently dissolved all gatherings and demonstration attempts throughout the country.

#Athens: Riot cops entered #Polytechnio – Cop terror in #Exarcheia

Athens. Greece. Yesterday afternoon (November 12, 2020) , the Polytechnio in Athens was entered by anarchist and student groups and individuals to enforce an opening during the three-day commemoration of November 17, 1973. Prior to this, the planned lockout had been leaked by the university management starting today, November 13. De facto the Polytechnio has been closed for months for political activities and is often a checkpoint for OPKE (cops) jeeps. There are no more events taking place there.

#Leipzig: Cop station marked – Greetings to #Lina

Leipzig. Germany. After a bad weekend with pre-trial detention for Lina and a free ride for the far-right movement of the “lateral thinkers” in Leipzig, we had to spell out the cops what we think of them. Thus we botched an ACAB to the police station in Plagwitz with two fire extinguishers filled with bitumen.

#Tübingen, #Germany: Spontaneous expression of solidarity with #Liebig34 in #Berlin

#Nuremberg, #Germany: Prison sentences without probation for shouting at the police

Nuremberg. Germany. Because of a dispute between park visitors and police on Jamnitzer Platz (square) in Nuremberg in June 2019, a trial was held this fall at the Nuremberg District Court. The accusation: Resistance against state authority. The trial revealed a politically motivated
unconditional will to convict, which was enforced at the expense of finding the truth. One of the two defendants was sentenced to one year and 6 months imprisonment, the other one to one year and 3 months. Both sentences were not suspended on probation.
