Berlin. On Friday 24.01 (January 24) around 4.00 a.m, the cops of the police station 51(Wedekindwache), raided the flat of Maria P. on Grünberger Straße 46, after her flatmate’s phone call, and shot her dead. Police reports and its careful reproduction through mass media profile Maria as a mentally ill person attacking the cops with a knife. At the same time the state, police and the mass media are targeting persons with mental health issues, suggesting that this ‘diagnosis’ is enough for their potential execution.

When entering through the apartment door, the officers noticed two black and red flags in the hallway; they therefore had to assume that they were here with someone at least close to the anti-authoritarian spectrum. Berlin. Crime scene Friedrichshain. Friday morning shortly after 4:00 a.m. Maria R. is shot in her apartment by cops from Section 51 (Wedekindwache). According to police reports to the busy Hofpresse(1), it should become clear rapidly: Maria is a mentally unstable person and had stormed towards the officers with a knife. We doubt this presentation by the Berlin police and consider the defending statement of police president Slowik as a challenge to the people of Berlin.
