Greece: How Neo-Nazi gangs are targeting squats

On the night of September 17 2013, the Greek rapper Pavlos Fyssas (Killah P) and his friends sat in the local coffee shop Korali, in Keratsini, to the south of Athens. There was a football match on the TV. The place was packed. Soon a verbal dispute between local two members of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn and Fyssas’ friends started. Just one hour later Fyssas will be murdered outside of the Korali, stabbed in the heart by a member of local Golden Dawn branch: Giorgos Roupakias.

#RefugeesGR: Cars of Hope Collective to support refugee squats in #Athens again

Last year the Cars of Hope collective from Wuppertal (German territory)supported self organized mutual aid projects on Lesvos, in Athens and in Bosnia. Next month activists of the Cars of Hope collective will be in Athens to support the Notara 26 refugee squat, which they also visited and supported in January 2018 and the Azadi refugee squat. They will also support the food distribution for homeless people in Athens.

Riot Turtle on #Lesvos and #Athens: Self-Organized Spaces Where People Can Live in Dignity

After almost 1 month on Lesvos and in Athens I returned to Germany yesterday. The difference between people living in free spaces like the Notara 26 squat in Athens and the people who are forced to live in the Moria refugee camp is unbelievable. Today human rights activist Arash Hampay was forced o leave Lesvos.
