RAM/RadioFragmata Interview with A Brazilian Comrade on the Events in Porto Alegre

On November 19th, 2020, the eve of “Black Consciousness” day in Brazil, security guards at the Carrefour retail store in Porto Alegre brutally murdered a black father of four named João Alberto Silveira Freitas while store employees and shoppers stood by (Video of the murder can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjCv0wRZLSU). Following his murder, demonstrations and riots broke out in Porto Allegre and were generalized in regions across the country (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucFPuHo4tlk). As the uprising that followed caught international headlines, fascist President Bolsanaro’s vice president Hamilton Mourão claimed there is no racism in Brazil, blaming foreign influences such as Black Lives Matter for the public’s response.

#Greece: New Democracy and #Pandemic Opportunism – The #Lockdown Resumes

Greece. The New Democracy administration continues to exploit the pandemic to take action against immigrants and anarchists, implementing an updated form of strategies that have not been seen since the Junta of the late 1960s and early ’70s. Our movement against the state and capital is more indispensable than ever, as the Greek state rushes to modernize the machinery via which it represses political opponents under the guise of law, order, and anti-virus mandates.

Greece is entering a new era in which the FBI, MI5, and other more advanced states in the world are acting as consultants for Greek repression. RadioFragmata: The Dumpster of American Politics has been Sprayed with Perfume

So Joe Biden won. The man who was appointed to be Obama’s vice president to calm panicking white people back in 2008. Anywhere else in the world he would be seen as a moderate right wing candidate. His running mate Kamala Harris is an ex-prosecutor and notorious supporter of law enforcement. Very little will change, Trump has already filled the judiciaries with fascist judges who will have life time positions; only the faces of the american system will be a little more polite and a little more calm the next year.

#Greece: The Court Ruled against Golden Dawn, but Struggle Continues in the Streets – “We Want Fascism Abolished—Not Judicially Regulated”

In Greece, the far-right New Democracy party has presided over a year and a half of reactionary efforts to crush the country’s vibrant culture of resistance, targeting immigrants, anarchists, ecologists, students, and rebellious neighborhoods. On October 7, after seven years of popular pressure, the Greek courts were finally compelled to find members of the fascist party Golden Dawn guilty for the murder of Greek musician Pavlos Fyssas. This gesture was supposed to legitimize New Democracy, distancing them from the fascist party whose voting base they stole to enact a more respectable version of the same agenda. But in the streets, refugee camps, and prisons, the same struggles continue with undiminished intensity.

#Athens: Complaint filed by an anti-racist organization

Ali Suari is a 20 year-old refugee from Guinea.
