Some of the very people who were stabbed and bludgeoned by the white supremacists are now facing prosecution. None of the fascists who stabbed people was arrested. Stop the collusion by the California highway patrol and the Sacramento district Attorney with white supremacists.
A protester at a Stephon Clark vigil last night (March 31) was hit by a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department vehicle.
Sacramento police shot Stephon Clark seven times from behind, according to an independent autopsy conducted by pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu, who was hired by Clark’s family. The autopsy contradicts the Sacramento police department’s claim that Clark was advancing towards officers Terrence Mercadal and Jared Robinet when they killed him. Dr. Omalu found that Clark took three to 10 minutes to die. Police waited at least five minutes before applying medical aid.
Last week we reported about the police murdering Stephon (or Stephen) Clark. The protests against this police killing aven’t stopped. Tomorrow there will be a vigil in Sacramento. This morning (March 23) antifascists in Sacramento dropped a banner in solidarity with victims of the recent bombings in Austin, Texas and in solidarity with those victimized by racist terror everywhere.
Community members in Sacramento took to the streets and blocked Interstate 5 on March 22 to demand justice for Stephon Clark, the 23 year old black man who was killed by police. Clark was unarmed when Sacramento police officers Terrence Mercadal and Jared Robinet shot him 20 times.

Longtime Sacramento activist and indigenous elder Mike Williams is one of three people of color who face charges stemming from the antifascist mobilization which shut down a neo-Nazi rally in June of 2016. Only one neo-Nazi, William Planer, is facing charges, and he was only arrested after vandalizing a synagogue in Denver, CO. Mike is currently facing massive charges and a high bail. Yesterday, news broke that the CHP is urging the DA to charge 106 individuals with 514 misdemeanors and 62 felonies over the shutdown of the white nationalist rally at the state capitol nearly a year ago. This development, while alarming to many, should come as no surprise. If anything, it is just another clear indicator that the state is the enemy of radical movements and of the people, and that the police are not to be trusted or given any information for the sake of our collective safety and freedom.
