Italy. Turin. On November 24, 2020, in the bunker room of the prison Le Vallette in Turin the sentence of appeal was issued against 23 anarchists accused in the “Scripta Manent” trial.
Turin. Italy. April 23. 2020. Tension in Corso Vercelli on the corner of Via Belmonte where about fifty anarchists have organized a demonstration against the Government orders, accusing the police of having “spread the virus”. What follows, as an exception to our common practice, a part of a mainstream media report about the demo.
Turin. Italy. April 19. 2020. The now unbridled power of the police has manifested itself today in a catch that tasted like an assault. Shortly after lunch, under the occupation of 45, Giulio Cesare street, a dozen policemen stopped two men with an exaggerated exercise of force and without paying attention to the precautionary anti-infection measures. The violence of the action was such that it aroused the attention of the people in the area who, although locked in their homes, did not remain silent and many took to the streets.
Italian territory: On the morning of May 29, 2019, in the court of Turin was held the first hearing in the trial against some anarchists for the occupation of Corso Giulio 45 (Turin). One of the defendants is Silvia, arrested on 7 February in the context of the “Scintilla” repressive operation and the eviction of the Asilo Occupato in Turin. The comrade via videoconference (which prevents her from being present at the hearings) read a text written by her and Anna announcing the beginning of a hunger strike against the conditions and restrictions imposed in the AS2 section of the prison of L’Aquila (prison conditions comparable to those of detention under the 41bis regime, present right in the prison where they are locked up).
Turin, Italian territory: For some time now, May 1 has been transformed into an institutional catwalk, an empty stage on which workers’ conflicts, now devoid of a sense of class and in some disarray, can be paraded.
In the early morning of February 7, the Italian police started with the eviction of the Asilo Occupato squat in Turin. Five people continued to resist on the roof and came down after 30 hours. The building has now been evicted. The eviction takes place in a broader context of repression: seven people have been arrested under suspicion of involvement in a subversive organisation.
Turin, July 13, 2018: Statement by CSOA Askatasuna, about the police operation against the social center in Turin, Italy, resulting in 15 precautionary measures and 9 arrests for May Day 2017.

We can picture the relationship between freedom of speech and democracy as a beautiful love story. The two depend on each other and the absence of one means the end of the other; they can challenge each other and sometimes clash and, through this process, grow and change. Freedom of speech has propelled history, created
After a few sunny days here in Greece winter has finally arrived. Temperatures fell along with snow in places. And in most areas, this change of weather was welcomed cheerfully. People got to wear their winter-attires and turned their heaters on or threw a few logs in the fireplace to get warm. Some put one
On 9th of January, Mohamud Mohammed Hassan was murdered by the South Wales Police in Cardiff. Communities across the city soon rallied to oppose this blatant, horrible act of racism, with a fundraiser for Mohamud’s family reaching its goal of £30,000 within two days, and the hashtag ‘#Justice4Mohamud’ quickly spreading like wildfire throughout social media.
We have to work most of our lives. Our efforts, time, ideas, successes and failures are compressed into rubles, dollars and euros – impersonal banknotes, which are constantly lacking to fulfill our desires and needs. Typically, work is fraught with wage delays, employers’ machinations, nervousness and humiliation from idiotic rules and bosses fooling around. (https://antijob.net/manifest)
