We are Yeldeğirmeni Solidarity from Turkey. We formed this solidarity group after the Gezi park occupation. It’s a neighbourhood Solidarty project in İstanbul/ Kadıköy.
About 2 months ago we occupied one bulding in our neighbourhood. It s a half building and it was empty for the last 20 years like garbage in front of our eyes and our streets. So we decided to occupy the building and make it a public place with a social center. There is a lot of work to do and we didn’t publish about it.

The going on occupation of the Taksim Square and Gezi Park has been attacked by the police this morning. After the meeting of the Council of Ministers yesterday, the police came to the square early in the morning at about 7 oclock, while shooting tear gas, the police made announcements that they are not going to attack to the park.Hundreds of police entered to Taksim Square pleading that there will be no attack to the park and saying that only the banners will be moved away. While the pankarts on AKM are moved away another group of police wanted to move away the tents on the square. The people wanted to stop the police and police attacked to the people with tear gas.
On the 14th day of the Gezi Park protests, resisters are responded once again with riot control vehicles and tear gas!
The only difference between the police raid which happened 10 days ago at 5 am and today’s raid is the timing. Today, the police intervention started at 7 am in Taksim for a change; however, there are already tens of injured people and a police blockage causing public worry.

At the beginning of the Carpathians, where the area is still only hilly and where wolves, bears and lynxes live freely, wood is being cut because a piece of virgin forest was not classified as a national park. However, it also serves as a demonstration that the wrong strategy for revolutionary change […]

The 28th of November, 2020 marks the 200th anniversary of Friedrich Engels’ birth. Unsurprisingly, the occasion has been celebrated by the publication of a number of hagiographies from Marxist outlets. These do not satisfy us. The intention of this article is not to deny any of Engels’ strengths; they are surely real, and have been […]

This Prolegomenon to a Treatise will examine the possibility for a foundational system which conceptually unifies ordinary mathematics (category theory, topos theory, or homotopy type theory are the options).
