June 15: International call to action – What’s Next in the #Unistoten Battle with Industry Giants

Canadian territory: The Unist’ot’en are counting on supporters to mobilize in a big way for the next step in our legal battle. From June 12-14, the BC Supreme Court will rule on the interim injunction. It will either be extended to an interlocutory injunction, giving a pass to more RCMP violence,  or dismissed, ending the human rights violations. But regardless of the outcome in the courts, it is not up to colonial government and industry giants to determine our fate. We remain unceded, undefeated, sovereign and victorious.

ACTION ALERT – Urgent Call for Solidarity Action to Stop Work on #Unistoten Territory

Coastal Gaslink (CGL) is currently bulldozing Unist’ot’en territory, including through our traplines, to establish a man camp without having conducted any prior Archaeological Impact Assessment for the site. We know from our histories that grave sites and cultural sites are scattered throughout our territory, and we believe that these sites are currently at risk of irreversible damage.

#Unistoten: Unceded. Undefeated

January 17, 2019: Following a landmark press conference yesterday, with the support of leaders from all over “BC”, the Wet’suwet’en and Unist’ot’en remain steadfast in the determination that we will be successful in halting the toxic Coastal GasLink pipeline, and all that threaten the health and safety of unceded and unsurrended territories.
